Terms of use
Last updated 1 October 2026
These terms apply when you use KiDukaan, either to run a store ("shop owner") or to order from one ("customer"). By using the service you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
What KiDukaan does
KiDukaan provides online store pages for shops. When a customer places an order, the order is sent to the shop on WhatsApp. The sale is between the customer and the shop: KiDukaan is not the seller, does not handle payments or deliveries, and is not a party to the purchase.
For shop owners
- You must be 18 or over and give accurate details about your shop.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You are responsible for your products, prices, stock, photos and descriptions, for fulfilling orders, and for following the laws that apply to your trade (for example, rules on medicines, hallmarking of gold, food safety, consumer protection and taxes).
- Only upload photos and content you have the right to use. Do not list prohibited, counterfeit or illegal items, or use the service to mislead customers.
- Use customers' details only to handle their orders, and keep them safe as the law requires.
For customers
- Give correct contact and delivery details so the shop can reach you.
- An order placed online is a request to the shop. The shop confirms availability, final price and delivery with you on WhatsApp, and you pay the shop directly.
- Questions about products, quality, returns or refunds are for the shop to resolve.
Plans and fees
The Free plan costs nothing. Pro is a paid plan; its current price is shown on the pricing page and includes GST. We do not charge commission on orders. If we change prices, we will tell shop owners before the change applies to them.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, collect other people's data, or send spam. We may suspend or remove stores or content that break these terms or the law.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, KiDukaan is not liable for losses arising from sales between shops and customers, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
Ending your use
Shop owners can ask us to close their store at any time. We may close stores that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. For questions or complaints, write to us at support@kidukaan.in.
